Information

If you’re an angler who likes to travel for your carp fishing or you’re simply someone who likes to have a back-up rod in the boot of your car at all times then you’ll love this telescopic carp rod from the Fox EOS range. EOS is Fox’s most affordable carp rod range to date and it has been purpose designed for the angler on a budget who doesn’t want to compromise on quality, as well as for the entry level angler who doesn’t want to break the bank with their first bits of kit.

This Fox EOS Telescopic is perfect for the travelling angler in particular and it offers a compact pack-down design. Although 12ft in length when fully extended, this rod retracts down to a mere 4ft, or 122cm. This ensures that it can comfortably fit in your luggage when you’re travelling abroad, as well as being ideal to take on a family holiday when you’re not able to pack the boot out with angling gear. It’s also a great back-up option to carry in your boot, in case you get the chance to go fishing at short notice or in case everyone’s worst nightmare happens – you damage a rod on the bank. This rod offers 3lb test curve, which makes it ideal for angling on smaller venues.

It is fitted with a 40mm butt ring that progresses to a 14mm tip ring. This ensures your casting accuracy whilst also maintaining the compact finish of the rod when it is fully retracted. The reel seat is 18mm in the classic DPS style, to ensure full reel safety when in use.

Fox International has been producing award winning tackle for anglers across the disciplines since 1967. Europe’s largest independently owned tackle company, Fox International still focuses the bulk of its tackle production on the carp fishing industry – although it also has subdivisions for other angling styles.
